I'll have a go at this even though I don't own one of these fine
machines. DW-8000 owners please respond if the following
instructions can be improved. The "Rezrov" and "Euroharp"
patches are the only ones applicable for your machine. In the Group
Files section is the DW8000 manual called dw8kmanual-small.pdf. Get
familiar with it. All the programmed sounds can be saved to tape as
a backup.
Audition all the patches in your machine and find one that you like
the least. Look at my post of the "Rezrov" patch and, following the
instructions in the manual, change the parameters of the patch you
like least to the ones for "Rezrov". Do you like the sound of
Rezrov better than the existing patch? If you do, write "Rezrov" to
memory over the old patch. If you don't, leave the old patch as
is. Do the same thing with the "Euroharp" patch.
