Subject: Questionably functional DW-8000...?

Heyo,

I just recently acquired a DW8000 for $15. Solid! However, the owner
said that while the keyboard had been in storage, it has sustained
heavy water damage. The keyboard looked mint, so I scooped it up
anyways. If it didn't work, no worry, was worth a try.

Well, I get it home and realize he'd left the old C or D batteries in
the back, and they'd leaked everywhere. I took them out, plugged the
machine in, and fiddled around. I've never used a DW8000 before.

It was making noises, but the only noises it would make when I
pressed any key was this siren-esque descending BBEEEEEOOOOOOOO. I
decided to crack it open and replace the CR2032 battery.

Ouch.

The case was literally filled with rust, but it appeared that every
single component was still in the right place. It looked like the
only damage done was to the metal bottom! I spent all day cleaning it
out, and I replaced the CR2032 battery. (I hope my amateurish
soldering jobs were okay!)

I fired it up -- yep, still powers up and looks fine -- and I tried
using a SysEx program to load on patches. I can tell that MIDI is
working, because I can control the DW8000 with my computer.
Unfortunately, I've tried loading a bunch of different SYX sets, and
still all I get is that obnoxious siren noise. Any ideas?
