Subject: Re: I am new here! Help

This is easily done, with a choice of two different methods:

(Method 1): Go to the files section of this User Group, and look for the file "DW8000 WAV Banks", and download that (it's a big download)... then hook up an audio cable from your PC's speaker-out to the cassette interface on the back of your DW8000.  Playing the WAV file from your computer is equivalent to playing the original factory patchbank tape from a cassette player.  Do the same procedure that you would when loading patchbanks from cassette.

(Method 2): If you have a MIDI interface on your PC, this is the preferred (and more flexible) method.  Download Anthony Ruggieri's DW8000 Editor for the PC at his site: http://www.anthonyruggeri.com/media/zip/dw8000.zip and also grab the factory and user patch banks http://www.anthonyruggeri.com/media/zip/apana.zip to use with this software.  This method actually allows you to break up the banks into separate patches and rearrange them any way you wish.  It is also an editor!! (individual sliders for each function on the synth!).
