Depends on what music you make - for you it wasn't useful - for
others yes it is.

It won't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear ;)

What synths are you comparing it with? It was very cheap at the time.

Agreed 100% and no Osc sync and of course - just the one filter but
then again - it's a budget poly.

You could get a good monosynth at the time but this was about the
only poly option.
