They act in tandem. For example, if you want more resonance then you
can either turn up the knob or the res parameter. It only self
oscillates with reso paramater greater than 13 and the res knob full
up.
In other words, if the knob went 0 to 10 and the parameter went 0 to
10, together you can go 0 to 20 :)
Then the EG and MG can push it further still!

Nope - the midway position is equivalent to knob contribution = OFF.

I have the schematics and I've had a quick look. There is a
resonance adjust trimmer (VR104?) AND an cut off freq trimmer VR103.
I'd say yes it could be done :)
The scans I have aren't the best quality :(
