external clocks work fine with it, and the internal clock is working, as
evidenced by the functional tap tempo button. i just have no control
over the tempo knob. the display is locked at a specific bpm, even
though the knob tests with variable resistance(is that the right term?).
the only way to change the bpm while under internal clock control is to
use the tap tempo button. i think i really need to get ahold of a
service manual so i can trace the clock circuit.
