Set Attack, Decay, Sustain Release as you would for any ADSR.
Set Slope to zero.
Set Breakpoint equal to Sustain.

By setting Slope to zero you ensure that ADBSSR becomes ADSR by makingSlope zero time long.Setting Breakpoint level to Sustain level ensures that Decay decays tothe Sustain level (because Breakpoint and Sustain are the same).

By setting Slope to zero you ensure that ADBSSR becomes ADSR by making Slope zero time long (at least not discernible to the human ear). Setting Breakpoint level to Sustain level ensures that Decay decays to the Sustain level (because Breakpoint and Sustain are the same).

If I want to use the DW8000's envelopes like I would on my Polysix, how would I set the envelope to take Break Point and Slope out of the equation? I'd basically like to start using my DW8000 as a pseudo analog.

Theoretically, you can also just set decay to 0 and break point to 31, but
I don't think it actually behaves quite the same.

It does well for many analog sounds, but there's not really a way to turn
the envelopes into ADSR. Just mess with them until you get the sounds you
want. It's not too hard...
