After writing a limited BCR2000 patch to control my DW6k I was disappointed that I couldn't separate a lot parameters.
The DW6k, unlike the DW8k, packs 2 parameters into a single byte.
Nearly half of the parameters are like this and BCR can't handle them, so changing one changes both
The other problem is keeping the BCR in sync with patch changes on the DW.
The PC program is a bridge between the BCR and the DW6k.
It converts CC messages from the BCR and outputs sysex parameters to the Korg.
When a patch is changed on the DW the program requests the new patch data and converts the sysex parameters to a full set of CC messages to send to the BCR to keep it in sync.
It all worked so well that it has given the old Korg a new lease of life. I even added a random patch generator.
