Hi Dave
I think your post scared the crap out of us competent but like to go at our one pace type S-DIYers.
so we sat back and left it to the more compitent members
but don't be fooled into thinking there is no one interested in this project .
I would be up for a set of boards and would enjoy the chalenge of building them
cheers

PS I would probably be in for the front panel as well

I posted what I thought might be positive news in message 651. Now I
realize I wrote it with a lot of "shalls" and "disclaimers" but I
wanted to be perfectly clear and I do author like an engineer writing
a specification. I have sold my 3 extra prototype CVS boards.
Hopefully the owners will validate the buildability, parts list, and
functionality, and post some photos and status on this list.

But, I am completely puzzled by the lack of any follow-on posts. Is
this project completely of no interest? Is the list broken? This
design is buildable in a number of different configurations. Based on
the flurry of postings some time back, I had expected at least some
interest and perhaps a few "I want one" postings so that people could
begin to group together for an order. 8 boards is ~$300 so it
shouldn't be hard to organize a small order.

What am I missing?

Dazed and confused ... but happy with my CVS.
