I have a limited number of LCD Support PC Boards Rev. X00 and programmed
Atmel ATTINY2313 chips with code by David Brown available. I will post
complete parts lists and assembly information shortly.
These will allow you to add a 16x2 backlit LCD display and MIDI to your
PSIM. Cost is $15 for the PC board Rev. X00, programmed Atmel ATTINY2313,
four ΒΌ inch #2/56 screws for mounting the LCD inconspicuously to a black
faceplate, and four #2 washers. Shipping is extra for orders outside of the
US and Canada. Additional parts for these boards from Mouser cost about $36
for the LCD function including LCD and $12 for the MIDI function including
high quality MIDI connectors.
I also have a limited number of 1x5 and 2x7 sockets for stacking the LCD
Support PCB to the PCB. Inquire first, I'll sell the two sockets for $2.50
each if included with your PCB/chip order. This saves you from ordering a
$6.77 breakaway socket strip from Mouser.
There is one mistake on the board that can be fixed one of two ways (more
details to be posted):
1)cut two 50 mil traces on the PCB and swap the connections, or
2)Make the connection between the LCD support PCB and LCD a 2x6
instead of 2x7, and make the final two connections by swapping two wires
across the connection. This makes the two boards permanently attached.
