Subject: Bored so wrote a program

I'm a bit under the weather so I'm not up to much. I decided to write
a program for my last three additions: PSIM display, TTS256, and the
Kurzweil PC-2 ribbon. Contact with the ribbon selects one of various
phrases which are also shown in an abbreviated form on the LCD
display. The program also outputs the correct voltage, gate, and
trigger from the ribbon. Upon release from the ribbon, it holds the
last voltage and speaks the selected phrase. It's not very musical
but it allowed me to experiment with the various devices and learn a
bit more about strings on the AtomPro24

String functionality is limited but with enough effort you can make
them work. I'm still looking for an easier way to do a LEN function. I
tried LOOKDOWN but it doesn't quite work with arbitrary string
lengths. I ended up having to use a small subroutine. The length is
needed to output the string using the STR function.

Now ... to route the speech through my Roland vocoder so I can do
something musical ...
