It seems like the sequencer bug usually happens when the synth part is
in unison mode; as Dale mentioned, it's a probably caused by a
processor that's too slow.

I think the AN200 is hard to beat for an small, inexpensive,
analog-sounding module. If it were a 1 space rack unit then it would
probably replace the A-Station in my live rig i.e. along with an Orbit
3 and JV1010. (...if I ever played live that is!)
Make sure you use the software editor if you really want to program
the AN200 and unlock its power!
