This is the complete OPPOSITE problem Mac users (such as myself) have
with IDE CD-ROMs/CDRWs/DVDs - SCSI drives work no problem but replacing
a factory supplied IDE drive with an after market drive can be a real
pain. Sorry I can't be of more help...
