LOL! What makes you think I haven't been here the whole time?? ;)

Well.... what are you waiting for? Don't give her time to change her
mind!!

Funny you should say that. I just posted this on my website yesterday:
http://www.sayersweb.com/studio/html/Nord_Lead_2_versus_3.html

Several people have asked me to compare them since I now have both
the 2 & 3. There is a bit of a difference in the raw sound, but very
little. If anything the NL3 sounds a bit more dynamic (rounder). But,
they are ∗very∗ similar when it comes down to the raw sound.

At first I also thought the NL3 sounded more metallic... but now
think it's because some of the new features are geared toward those
types of sounds. If you don't use those new features it seems to
sound remarkably like the NL2. I plan to do some more comparisons
soon.

The NL3 interface is really fantastic. Well... that does not even go
far enough. It is fan-friggin-tastic.

I had the Nord Micro for a while. I did not connect with it. Mainly
do to the poor hardware interface. I found the overall sound to be a
bit thin. I'm sure there are others will not agree though.

Was this at WMC? I don't want to try the Voyager.... It would suck to
suddenly dislike all of my VAs! I really need ot give the A6 another
try sometime.

Bob Moog was on Screen Savers? Arggghhh! I missed it!! :(
What was he on the show for?

Did he!!! Does not surprise me at all... I do have one, although have
not done much with it other than beta test the PC editor.

Yup, still keeping to the fitness routine, although carrying around a
few of those holiday pounds. Still waiting for the weather to improve
around here!

We should do another DC get-together. At least with Ugo, Ed, you, and
me (and anyone else interested). :)
