Hi there,

I am just (eventually) getting my PC MIDI'ed up and conntected to my
synths so I can do some proper MIDI stuff (I have a Korg X5 and a D50
as well as my AN1x). I have a copy of Cubase (which I know how to
use) and the neccessary cables - but I don't have a sound card.

Sound daft - but I have never needed a sound card in the past. I
don't play computer games, and I have a decent hifi set-up and more
original CDs than I have time to listen to.

I'm sure everyone has all their own favourites, but can anyone give
me some advice on what is worth getting and what is worth avoiding
(we're talking either a budget one new or a good one secondhand). I
don't neccessaily need a top of the range one, just somethign that is
going to be good for MIDI.

Oh, must be PCI, BTW.
