Couple of things here...
1st, please don't quote the entire digest and resend - I'm certain
many list members don't appreciate the duplicate emails...
2nd, in the Files section here at Yahoo! Groups
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files there is a
directory 'Tips & Tricks' which contains FAQs from some of the older,
now discontinued AN1x user pages - my own included. If you're
interested in further developing this resource I would suggest you
review the format previously used to see if it meets your
requirements.
HTML requires minimal storage space - we have an ample supply of
storage space here at Yahoo! Groups. You might consider simply
creating an Index or TOC (Table of Contents) and simply link to the
original posts which are retained in the list archive. This would
require the least amount of effort in regards to tailoring, or
reconstructing, the orginal posts into a FAQ. However, if you use
this option it would require users of the FAQ be list subscribers -
not necessarily a bad thing (as it encourages feedback and
participation) but a 'limitation' none the less. If you opt to
create individual HTML pages you are in effect utilizing storage
capacity for a purpose redundant to the list archives.
Please feel free to post back as I'd hazard a guess there are
opinions on the list that have yet to be expressed.
