I'm afraid the s/h waveform is going to make most things sound sci-
fi. Here's some ideas ...

1) You could try pulse-width modulation ... letting LFO 2 run it and
controlling the LFO2 rate and the depth from the mod wheel.

2) You could let a FREE EG (sinewave) modulate pitch. Trouble is ...
no control.

3) Or you can let the FreeEG (just draw a S/H shape) modulate the
sync and keep LFO routed to pitch through the mod wheel. You can turn
this effect to some degree by controlling sync PITCH manually.

These days I'm using less LFO mod of pitch. When I do, I often use
oftertouch to let the mod wheel carry the morph duties. When I don't
I do manual vibratos from the ribbon (X). I find the ribbon intuitive
and there's so many things that can be done (vibrato, grace notes,
pitch bend, pitch notch, etc.)
