Couple of thoughts...

siganl to noise ratio just like the Plugstaion complete version.

1st, both these units are discontinued - don't expect to see a re-
release - it's not in Yamaha's recent history to do that. 2nd,
its 'AD/DA' (analog->digital/digital->analog) convertors not AC/DC.
While it's conceivable Yamaha would implement a pair of high quality,
increased bit depth convertors on a tabletop unit - would the buying
public be willing to spend the money on the higher MSRP such an
enhancement would necessitate? Probably not on a unit in the price
range of the ∗200 series - maybe on a RS7000 MkII or something in
that price range...

low latency for vsti,on board DSP(NO need for on board synth just use
plugstation- see part 3).

Sounds great in theory but again, I think the increase in MSRP for
such a unit would surprise you. Have you checked out the UAD-1 or TC
Powercore (sic)? Not inxepensive. I think it more likely Yamaha
would market a external unit comparable to the MOTU 828 or 896,
DIGI001 or MBox, Presonus Firestation (sic - again)

this can be used on the plugstation.

Not a bad idea - but don't those units (MU100, 128) already function
as PLG hosts? Kind of hard to see how a PLG150XG card would
differentiate itself.

knobs just like an/dx200.And allows varible morph and dual scenes or
up-grade the an150 to do this.

Judging by how infrequently the Plugstation is mentioned on this list
I'd guesss it's not been widely adopted? The Scene Morph vs. Voice
Morph, i.e., dual scenes is a 'limitation' of the PLG150AN card - the
most sure fire fix for this is to buy an AN1x ;-)

Again, isn't this addressed via XGWorks (or a DX200 unit?)

Instruments came up with more goods to deliver.

Right, NI came with more, new goods (again) while continuing to
ignore their existing product line. I'm more put off on NI then
normal following NAMM and the baby-KONTAKT spin offs. At least they
decided to do right by their existing REAKTOR users and offer the
overdue upgrade for free. Their at least a year away from getting
updates in place for the products I own - let alone provide OS X
support...rant, rant, rant (how childish of me...)
