Thanks Bruce, but I may have been too vague...
What I mean is, I can do what you mention, save it and all (on the PC) and download the newly compiled patches to my An1x. The thing is, they don't stay on the an1x when I power down and up again. I want to have the patches be the current ones saved on the an1x itself....so I could unhook the MIDI if I wanted and cart it somewhere and use the patches.
I can do it one at a time, playing some patch I download and manually saving it on the An1x, but I figured there must be a way to force the an1x to save all current patches to their respective numbers...either on command from an1x-edit to the an1x or else by some buttons on the an1x
(maybe I need to do a bulk download?) are there more ways to do that?
Thanks for the help!
Jim

Hi Jim,
I'm hoping this answers your question ...
When I'm patch browsing, I usually open AN1xEdit and then open 3-4 (or more) libraries at once. AN1xEdit gives each of them a tab at the top of the Library window. Depending on what they are named, you can open 4-8 of them and still see all the tabs, or you can scroll across the window to get to them. Then, I create a new library as another open "tab," audition patches, and cut-and-paste them from their original library into the new library. (You can highlight patches in Library mode by clicking, shift-clicking, and ctrl-clicking just like a word processor or spreadsheet.) Then save the new library, and you're done!
Regards,
-BW
