Hi Paul,
Sounds like it needs a good cleaning...or replacement. On occasion,
mine will adjust themselves randomly but this is very infrequent. I
think it's simply a result of the potentiometers used in the knobs.

I assume you know that the knobs are duel function, i.e., Push down on
the knob while turning it puts you into 'fine edit' mode where as just
turning the knob (without pushing down on it) results in large value
adjustments. If you already know that - sorry - not trying to talk down
to you :-) Just trying to help.
