I have a MicroModular (oh, right, I have an expanded ModularKey too...=) ).
I think it's great, but you somewhat trade polyphony for flexibility. Most
patches I create get just one to three voices on the micro, but it's a very
very flexible synth. One moment you use it as a traditional VA, with six
detuned sawtooth osc:s and 24dB lowpass, and the next moment it's a vocoder,
or an advanced FM-synth, or a combination or... =)

Sonically the micro is a bit on the hard/agressive side (although that
depends on the patching-skill of the user, I've heard some very lush and
warm patches), and it complements the rather soft/warm sound of the
PLG150-AN nicely (and therefore, I assume, the an1x).

Also, each Modular will use up two midi-ports. (but then, that's just a good
excuse to get a Midex8... =) )

Just my 2...

/Patrik
