Hello,
well SD is not that bad and of the all generic synth editor I am aware of
is the only with a degree of support
it is hard to grasp at start but it also offer a nice degree
of customability u can redesign the all layout if u don't like it
unysin is great also but support is down to 0 since years
music quest is another competitor but I really don't like the UI
in general the dedicated editor are better look at Gary wonder :-)
but SD has support for many of my synths too.
.. About marketing and synth for TYPE of music .. I really never understand
this trend of the 90s, a synth is a synth, one of most powerful tools
to create many sort of landscapes of any sort,
so what sense does it make to call it a techno synth or a progressive synth ?
there are only good ones and bad ones :-)
Regards
