GG,
Ok thanks that clarifies most of my issues.
The VCA thang must have just been my hearing at the time :)
With regards stereo output of the card, Im then wondering what is the actual
difference between the left and the right output, since none of the PLG150AN
parameters seems to affect the stereo panorama of the sound (eg there are no
chorus or panning affects etc ), and the card itself doesnt seem to respond
to CC10.
And if we conclude that the output from both left and right are always the
same, then in effect, this is just 2 copies of the same mono signal isnt it
?
Could you have a look at the SYSEX implementation chart of the PLG150AN
(page 70 in my multilingual manual) as it states that controllers 1, 5,7,10
and 11 are implemented but with a footnote saying "receive if switch is on".
What switch ?
Is this a reference to the host device (assuming it is an SW1000XG) and if
so, then how come controller 1 (modulation) behaves differently as it seems
to always respond whereas the others dont ?
Would I be correct in stating that only the modulation CC is actually
implemented on the card itself and the others rely on the host ?
