Well, I haven't heard the MOSS in a while, but "thin" isn't exactly what I
first think of when I hear PLG150-AN. I mostly use the AN-board as a
monosynth, in unison mode. Perhaps some sounds on it is a bit thin in
"single-mode". However, you can get really fat sounds from it. Use the
"dual-saw" on OSC1 (or is it OSC2 that has that one, can never remember...),
together with a Square, ocr X-modulated triangle wave on the other OSC,
tuned one octave down. Add a bit of noise and turn the feedback up a bit (or
quite a bit =) ). Set the filter to 24dB LP and add a bit of resonance. Set
it to unison, and adjust the detune to taste. You should have a very fat
"growl" on low cutoffs, and a fat, hard lead sound on higher cutoff
settings. You can set the Amp Sim to "Tube", for a more dirty sound. You can
also try to add some HP filtering with the separate HP filter, for a more
hollow sound.
Good luck
/Patrik
