I definatly think the virus has the sonic edge. The nova/supernova are a more produced and polished sound. This is fine too a point but you can't take that glossy smoothness off the sounds. It just can't create the gut renching in your face sounds the virus can. Most of the sounds 've heard from the novas also seem to be simple analogue emulations (albeit good ones). This may be down to the fact that I haven't met anyone who does any programming on them (a complement to the presets). The virus seems to have a bigger sound pallette. Comes down to your desision at the end but I just prefer the virus. If I only could have one piece of kit I might look at the novas, but I still doubt I'd go for it.

Yes I agree..... I especially like the Supernova interface compared to the Virus.

But, the Virus has such a sound to it.... I can't really explain it, but it has amazing sonic capabilities. :-)
