The Virus (I played with the keyboard version) is incredibly fun to play in
the shop. The issue that I have with it, is that it uses the available space
on the front panel quite poorly, and the screen is nothing to write home
about. It could use a visual face-lift, and lose a couple of kilos.
(Contrary to most Hollywood actresses, so to say.)

The Supernova II (also keyboard) has the same fun factor, looks like a dream
(anyone ever seen the platinum limited edition?), and is significantly
easier to carry. Then again, I've heard comments from people who aren't
convinced by the Supernova's algorithms. Which is a shame, because I think
it's the most elegant and beautiful VA synth around.

I'm quite happy with the AN1x and would never ever sell it, if only because
it's my first synth. It's just different than the rest, which makes it
desirable, even if you have a multi-mega VA monster like a Supernova, Virus
or Q next to it.
