I agree with the others that the AN1x editor is the way to go and it's free!
There seems to be a problem with the AN1x not handling sysex data fast enough
when a dump is received. Other recent Yamaha synths are known for the same
problem (EX series).

Grant your name is very familiar to me. We have crossed paths (at least emails)
at some point along the way, I just don't remember when. So, a big "HI" to you!
