We do some trance, mainly for TV so its usually a 30 second spot...
Our trance sounds come from either the Juno106, Korg MS2000, Korg Prophecy,
or Roland JP8080. One of the biggest tricks we've found to good goa sounds
is using triplet delays on one sound and a 1/4 delay on another... it gives
a really thick bed of arpegiation. Also listening to paul oakenfolds
bootleg stuff (Live at Home in London) gave lots of inspiration.
Cheers,
Grant Davies
