about the Amp sim,
I do believe that
It is a good idea to explore and add new flavor
to your existing sounds.
we should thank Yamaha for even thinking about it.
in which other synth have you seen amp-sim ?

by the way,
did you know that for many years people use to record keyboards
thru amps ?
here are 2 great classics:
Fender rhodes and the Hammond B-3.
I remember years when we recorded Jupiters and prophets
running thru Vox amps.
I personly use to run my old SH-09 thru a Bass amp,
it gave it the bottom of a bass guitar and still kept the
synthetic flavor of Roland.
