So, when you asiggn controlers in the control matrix to the modulation wheel
or a knob, ribbon you are using MIDI CC and thats all. And you can also use
it to control other synthetiser or program, for example Rebirth or a VST
instrument?

No the Phat boy is a £150 UKP Hardware device that has Knobs on it that
are assigned to CC's, it has 5 or 6 preset banks that can output a lot
of CC's, there is a Specific option for PLG AN/AN1x as well, it assigns
all the knobs to the control matrix, Nice.
