In order to get it working you have to provide the midi clock signal from your DAW. While most instruments have "integer only" midi clock resolution, they should have no issues with syncing to a fractional tempo.
I have some drum loops that for some reason are 77.5 bpm. I set the arp tempo to MIDI, but I couldn't figure out how to get things to work. I just recorded the midi data, then played it back at 77.5, but how are you supposed to do it?
