I have a real nice set of sampled electric bass sounds, but I can't figure out how to make it sound like a real bassist playing the bass. So I figured for the next CD I'd make my own bass sounds on the AN1X. I have no idea how to make standard EDM bass patches. What I did: I took a homebrewed electric piano patch (it sounded vaguely like an electric piano) and I tried it as a bass. Not bad. Scene one was layered with scene two so I set the portamento to be different for each scene, set it to dual unison, and for some reason which I can't remember at the moment, I set the filter mod amount to velocity. Instant wild crazy bass.
Love this synth.
