I bought an AN1x when they were being heavily discounted. I needed a controller for my Vintage Keys and I figured I could get synth and a midi controller for the same price. The looks were weird but what bothered me were the sounds. I tried tweaking the presets, but couldn't get anywhere. Took a couple years for me to realize the EQ settings were still on, even when the effects were bypassed. And most of the EQ settings were extreme. Figured that out, figured that the synth was so powerful I needed to be careful how deep I went, and now I have a great synth.
