Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

So, my lovely AN1x has begun to hang at the "Yamaha 1997" (or whatever the first screen says) during the bootup process.

One person suggested it was because I was using a 3rd-party power source, so I bought the real deal and saw no improvement.

I have tried holding the keys down for a factory reset. No luck.

Now, I'm wondering:
1. Am I totally out of luck?
2. Is there something else I should try?
3. Is it worth paying to have this thing repaired?
4. Would an AN1x in this condition sell for a price even worth my time?
