Hi again,
I have now tried all of your kind inputs regarding my AN1x that stopped
working after replacing a white key and the battery.
I've:
- Started the thing up without backup battery, held down 7,8,9 while
pressing the power button. Like a lot of you suggested. It gives me the
usual welcome message and then "Lo Bat". I can't access the factory reset,
numeric keys and knob parameter group buttons doesn't seem to respond.
- Reseted the small board that sits up on the two white posts. Like Dowd
Bailey suggested -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVa5SUTNDcg- Did a momentarily short-circuit like ∗Jeff ∗suggested. Still nothing..
- Removed all the cables and put them back in. Still nothing..
- Checked the new battery with a voltmeter, gives me 3,3 V and it's a
CR2450.
I must have fucked something up when I dissembled it the first time. Do you
think it would be worth turning it in to authorized yamaha service or would
it be cheaper to buy a used but working AN1x? There must be a broken cable
or connector somewhere, but I don't know how to find it.. Can't check every
cable with a voltmeter?!
Thanks again for your help anyways. Pretty amazing you can find people with
this much knowledge over the internet these days, even though it didn't
work this time.
Regards,
Jonas
