Hi Jack
I'm in the same boat, and after exploring a few different options the best solution I have found for now is to install Windows XP via bootcamp and use an1xedit. I tried XP on Parallels but that was messy in terms of switching / sharing midi connections between the two OS, and the reliability of the midi transmissions in general. XP is actually very compact in terms of disk space, so you shouldn't need to sacrifice much. AFAIK there is no editor which runs on OSX which has anything like the functionality of an1xedit.
Good Luck!
Richard

With sysex librarion I am able to load sysex files the problem is that I can't seem to find very many of them so I need an editor that can load all formats
