try some white noise and an ar envelope with a short attack and a long reverb

but you will most proberly find it hard to creat a good copy as most crashes you need to ring modulate 2 noise sources white / red and the resultant wave would be put threough the ar envelope

but most modules are sample based and therefor you wont get a sampled crash sound on the an1x as its virtual analog

you have more chance of making snares and bass drums on the an1x also hi hats

Subject: [AN1x] "Orchestral crash" voice available?

Hi all

Have had a great time wandering through the various voices available on here - some great stuff, and far more usable than the AN1X's original voices.

One thing I've not found, though, is a good orchestral crash voice - the sort of thing (for example) that the Pet Shop Boys use for the theme at the start (and then in the breaks) of "Always on my mind". I've got a couple on a Roland module, but they don't match up.

Anyone created anything similar with the mighty AN1X? :)
