I'm updating my an.factory librarian, and whilst writing a test suite to validate MIDI transfers (send voice to edit buffer, read it back and compare to original), I encountered a problem where the test would hang, always on Factory Preset Voice 7 "Uni-Bass". I then realised it was the AN1x hanging. After requesting to read the edit buffer with that voice in then you can't do anything with it until you power it off and back on again.

After some experimentation, I found that I can send the same voice even via AN1xEdit, and when I use MIDIOX to request via MIDI to receive the voice then the AN1x will hang. I can also load the Factory Presets (the usual way) to memory, select the Voice in question and then request it via MIDIOX from the edit buffer and the same thing happens. So it's not my program! If I send the same voice to memory and then request it back, then that is fine, so it's just an issue with the edit buffer.

Are there any AN1x MIDI gurus out there who know what's happening? Is there a list of known AN1x bugs?
