hello,
thanks to everyone for their help.
i did solve the problem. well, not really, cause there wasn't ever a
problem at all. shame on me ;-).
i have checked incomming data with midiosx but nothing came in.
afterwards i have tested connecting a korg triton keyboard, from a
friend, to the amt8 and the same flashing led happened.
unfortunately i didn't have had a manual for my amt8, otherwise i
would have read the manual instrunctions before asking here ;-)
my friend does have an amt8 manual and it's written there that it is
usual that the midi in led constantly flashes when a masterkeyboard
is connected and that there's absolutely nothing to worry about it.
so there's not really a problem at all. the only way to stop the
flashing leds seems to be the way as jimmy has described. so thanks
for that trick jimmy ;-D
again, thanks very much to all of you who have helped me.
cheers & keep the an1x spirit alive
rob
