for some reason, I saved some as .mid files. Now, I cannot get an1xedit or an200 editor to
open these files. What do I need to do to get this done.

A .mid file is a Standard MIDI File (SMF) and may be played back from any MIDI Sequencer to
load the file(s) into your AN200.

If you don't have a MIDI Sequencer, some - not all - SysEx librarians for Win/Mac will
import .mid files and allow you to load them into your device. Check the list archives for
some past recommendations, I don't recall the Win suggestions off hand. For Mac you can
use SysEx Librarian which will load .mid files http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/
