Yes we do use a different Hz, but it doesn't matter, all the power
conversion is done in the transformer, which is inside the power supply,
all you need to do is plug the right power supply between your synth and
the outlet and you're off.
By the way, the standard Yamaha 12v adaptor for their synts is model PA-3B.
