What is extremely annoying with Yamaha is that they have
two complete and unfair separate lines of support in EU and USA
free in USA charge in EU
i don't mind charge but for upgrades not for bug fixes !
when i asked in the past for new OS for EX5 and AN1X they ask a fortune :-(
so lucky u .. maybe there is a 3rd line in UK ;-)

If its possible try and contact a Yamaha supplier from a different country.
I got my v1.04 chip about a month ago from Yamaha UK with very little hassle.
They may post overseas for a little extra. Worth a try maybe?
