It's the motif ES7, and I made sure the master effects are off also. The reason for this inquiry is the one you guessed. I have both the An1x and the PLG150An, and although the An1x is my board of choice, the guys in the band are really pushing for the Motif ES. I use the Motif ES almost strictly for lead sounds, and the An1x does these sounds so well, but it's almost a third of the ES7's weight, so, that's why I gravitate to the An1x!!

Motif or Motif ES?
Could the Motif have had any Master Effects (not sure if the original
Motif has Master Effects like the ES) altering the sound?
I do not have an AN1X but I have the PLG150AN. I have used this card
in both my CS6X and Motif ES and find the ES to sound better, IMHO.
Is there a reason this is a curiousity? Are you thinking of replacing
your AN1X with the AN cards?
