As far as your pedalboard goes for testing, I’d figure out a way to transpose it in hardware so whatever you want to call "middle C” actually sends MIDI note 60. On an AGO C-G 32-note pedalboard, the right-most C corresponds to middle C on the manuals.

<div>Then, independent from your console hardware, make sure that when the module receives MIDI note 60 that it speaks middle C at 8’ (261.62 Hz) and do the math from there.
