<div class="PlainText elementToProof">This is an advantage of a capacitance multiplier on each rail as the capacitor is charged through a resistor. Most normal interference from outside doesn't get through the pass transistor. If the power supply feeding
the module droops then charge from the multiplier capacitor flows through the base-emitter to keep your circuit running properly, and if it's your circuit creating the hit, that capacitor also discharges a bit before you start loading down the main PSU, and
your hit on it is smoothed out a bit, as is the recharging of the capacitor afterwards thanks to the resistor.<br>
