Not that I'd compare him with Don Buchla in terms of inventiveness,
but Dieter Döpfer has also a university degree in Physics. (and
funfact: he worked at a electronics optical laboratory of the
ophthalmic hospital of Munichs university, but he quit after a year
or so. Three weeks later I got a job at the same lab - but I admit,
I didn't even come close to the quality of his work)<br>
