some thought, and I think I'm seeing it more clearly now. All I have to do
is make sure that the source current is a bit higher than the
expected current draw, and that this value does not exceed about 10

<P>I use LM336 and other shunt references such as LM4040-x and LM329 unbuffered.
Most everything I use these references for requires only a few mA max. If I
think more current is needed, I'll lower the series resistor a little.<BR></P>
