<div dir="ltr">Another +1 on the Rigol DS1054Z 50MHz Digital Oscilloscope - I've only one complaint with it. The fan can be a bit noisy other than that it has been an absolute gem to use and calibrate synths with. I'm not sure I even needed to unlock it for my uses since 90% of the time I'm only using 2 channels on audio rate signals.<div><br></div><div>I have another Eurorack buddy that has sold his in favor of the Analog Discovery scope that hooks up to the laptop. Both vintage Tek and modern scopes are always "best" in different ways, but it's useful to hear people's recommendations. A colleague of mine found the Siglent SDS1104X-E 100MHz four-channel oscilloscope interesting (in the 500ish price range), and it would be nice to hear if people say yay or nay before we order a couple of them - and before this is seen as some kind of recommendation.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Personally I've almost never needed more than my analog Tektronix 2236 and 2247A (both with built-in multimeters) give me (in addition to a really high quality audio interface and computer) and it's a joy using them.
