<div dir="ltr">I'm a big fan of Big Clive, I especially love the low quality, (primarily) Chinese junk that he hacks up. It's a very interesting dive into Chinese engineering, and you know what? Some of that shit is genius! Also, some of it is so incredibly dangerous you will be left there shocked for a while.<br><br><div>I recently found <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/BenEater">Ben Eater</a>, who deals with practical demonstrations of "old computing" hardware. Basically builds microcomputers and related digital circuits on a breadboard, going through every subsystem bit by bit, demonstrating functionality and explaining it in depth. Highly recommended watch.</div><div><br></div><div>There's also <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/TheSignalPathBlog">the signal path</a> who deals with RF stuff. Way out of my league, I stopped watching long ago but the guy is very good if you like this sort of thing.</div><div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Oct 22, 2020 at 5:36 AM Loscha <<a href="mailto:loscha@gmail.com">loscha@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>I'm partial to Big Clive's videos.</div><div>Sometimes more about Electrics, rather than Electronics, his videos are no nonsense, easy to follow, and he doesn't repeat himself 4 times.</div><div><br></div><div>He looks at a lot of consumer items, and sketches out the circuits.
