I think the images must have been close to the limit and then the following replies pushed it over? Today I saw a couple of posts being rejected because they were over the maximum message size for this list. This can happen easily if you upload a photo. The total message size must be kept below 1 MB. In practice, this means (because of ASCII encoding) that the image(s) must be < 800 KB or so.<br>

I’ll keep an eye on it, perhaps it is too small. I’m just afraid that once I up it to 3 MB (which would have passed today’s messages), I will start seeing 5 MB messages… What do you think? Do you have objections to a larger message size?<br>
